How we research
The King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk is the observation deck on the top floors of King Power Mahanakhon, the pixelated tower in the Silom business district. The building was completed in 2016 and was recognised as Thailand's tallest that year; it was passed in 2018 by a tower at ICONSIAM (Wikipedia). The main draws are a 360-degree indoor deck on the 74th floor, an open-air rooftop on the 78th with a glass floor, and a highest point, called The Peak, at 314 metres.
It is expensive compared with a drink at a rooftop bar, so it is worth deciding what you want from it before you book.

Tickets
The official page lists these prices (October 2026):
| Ticket | 10:00am–3:30pm | 3:30pm–7:00pm |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | 1,000 THB | 1,200 THB |
| Child (8–12) or senior (over 60) | 500 THB | 600 THB |
The same page gives opening hours as daily from 10:00am to midnight, with last entry at 11pm, but only lists ticket prices up to 7pm. Check the booking page for later slots. Resellers sell tickets at different prices, so compare any listing with the official price before you buy.
When to go
The later band (3:30pm to 7:00pm) costs 200 THB more for adults; resellers call it the sunset slot. If the view at dusk is the point, choose it. The earlier band is cheaper. Haze and rain affect any slot, so see the best time to visit Bangkok for the seasons.
SkyWalk or a rooftop bar?
- The SkyWalk costs a ticket (1,000–1,200 THB for adults) and gives you the glass floor and the operator's highest viewpoint, 314 metres.
- A rooftop bar costs whatever you spend on drinks, and you get a seat. Check the menu prices first; see Bangkok's rooftop bars.
If you want to stand on a glass floor, or you want a view without a minimum spend, the SkyWalk is the better choice. If you want a seat and a drink, choose a bar.
