The short version
Some links on TodoBangkok are affiliate links. If you click one and make a booking, we may earn a commission. You don't pay any more. These commissions help keep the guide free and independent.
How affiliate links appear
- Affiliate links appear only in clearly labelled booking boxes ("If you book…") and are marked as affiliate links next to the button.
- They carry the `rel="sponsored"` attribute, as search engines require.
- Editorial booking advice — what to look for and when to skip it — appears in those boxes whether or not we have an affiliate partner for that category.
Who we work with
We currently have affiliate partnerships with GetYourGuide and Viator for tours and activities. We may add other established platforms, for example for hotels; this page will be updated when we do. We only show a partner's links once we have an account with them. We don't accept payment for editorial coverage.
What affiliate relationships don't change
- What we recommend, and in what order
- Whether we tell you to skip something (we regularly do, including bookable things)
- How we describe a place, tour or hotel
If something is better done independently — Ayutthaya by train, Yaowarat without a food tour — we say so, even when there's a bookable alternative.
